Field Testing Services
We offer many field services on a contract basis. This can be useful when your measurement department encounters unforeseen workloads. Think of us as an extension of your measurement department. We can test your meters in our shop or on site at the customer location!
EEI Sonic Nozzle Provers
If you have specific sorting or classifying of meters as part of the test specification, please let us know. Our Sonic9 software allows for customized workflows that ensure compliance with your process while ensuring the accuracy of the results.
We are able to test your meters in our shop to your specifications and provide test reports, certificates of accuracy, as well as customer compliant letters. We test diaphragm, rotary, ultrasonic, and turbine meters up to 10,000 CFH.
Field Testing Services
Energy Economics, Inc. can perform testing and calibration services on your diaphragm, rotary, and turbine meters in the field up to 10,000 CFH. We have experienced personnel who can verify the accuracy and perform maintenance on the meter under test. They will perform an initial accuracy test, cleaning, adjusting and replacing of worn parts. The meter calibration can also be adjusted. If the meter needs to be repaired then our meter technicians can perform rotor or bearing replacement, oil change, grind valves, replace bushings or gaskets – whatever is required to bring that meter into specifications.
Bell Strapping & Metrology Services
An accurate bell is the first step in assuring the accuracy of your meters. Bells are essential for the calibration of sonic nozzle provers. Energy Economics, Inc. technicians are trained in the proper strapping of bells per ANSI B109 and NIST standards.
